Dr. K. Sureshkumar
Dr. Sureshkumar completed his Ph.D., from Central college in Analytical chemistry, Bangalore University, Bengaluru in the year 2012 and soon after that he joined as a Senior Research Associate in Center for Nano and Material Sciences, Jain University, Bengaluru, where he worked on the development of optical and electrochemical sensors for environmental and biological applications. In the year 2014 he moved to Department of Advanced Organic Materials Engineering, Chungnam National University, South Korea, as a Postdoctoral Researcher where he worked on the synthesis of functional organic materials for sensing and thermo chromic applications. In November 2016 he joined Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering,Seoul, South Korea as a Postdoctoral Researcher and worked until May 2017, where he worked on the Synthesis of Metal organic frame works for adsorption of VOCs (Volatile organic compounds).
From July 2017 he is working as Assistant Professor in the School of Basic and Applied Sciences, Biological Sciences Department of DayanandSagar University. He has published his research findings in several international peer reviewed journals and also presented research findings in number of national and international conferences. He received JRF & SRF fellowship from UGC during his Ph.D. His research interest revolves around electrochemical sensors/biosensors, optical sensors, nanotechnology, fuel cells etc.
