About B.Sc. Applied Science

The B.Sc. in Biological Science is an undergraduate degree program designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of living organisms, encompassing their formation, structure, development, and advancement. Through this course, students gain fundamental knowledge in areas such as Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Genetics, and more, laying a strong academic foundation.

The program offers major combinations including Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, and Genetics, enabling students to explore diverse domains within life sciences. With a duration of 3 years (6 semesters), the course is structured to balance theoretical concepts with practical exposure.

Students who have completed PUC under Karnataka PU Board or +2 under CBSE/ICSE/other boards in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate are eligible to apply. A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination is required for admission.

Eligibility for Admission

Pass in 10+2,CBSE,ICSE, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category).
